We noticed the house on the Glover web site on Saturday afternoon. We rang Glover asking for a viewing on Sunday. Glenn Stott was the real estate agent who met with us to take us through the property. Two viewings that day and we were sure that we wanted to proceed with an offer. It is with great confidence we are writing this letter informing you of the wonderful service Walter Thorpe gave us during our purchase of the house situated at 163 Golf Road, Titirangi, Waitakere.
In fact, the first time I met Walter was when I walked into your office in Green Bay, very shabbily dressed, real dirty clothes because I was actually working in our garden and did not bother to clean myself or change my clothes. I purposely did that to see what type of service I would get by coming to your office in such a shabby state. As soon as I came to your office, I asked the receptionist if I could see a sales person and she was very polite and showed me to Walter. When I told Walter what we were looking for he immediately gave me a picture of the real estate market in and aroung Green Bay and New Lynn. He also gave me a print out of all the houses sold in that area with the C.V. price and the actual sale price. This is in fact the best thing he did. Please note that before we met Walter, we had been to all real estate agencies in and around Green Bay and New Lynn except Glover and nobody had given us as much information as Walter did. All the other real estate agents were only interested in selling the house to us without even properly listening to us.
We were in fact looking for an investment house for the past 3 months and knew exactly what we wanted. We feel that f we had not met Walter we would still be looking for an investment house.
What we liked very much about Walter:
- Very soft spoken and gentle person
- Knows his job and gives you the right information.
- Very good listener.
- We really liked the way he keeps his diary with all the information about the house - we have not seen any other real estate do that - they usually keep papers all over the place and most times cannot even find them.
- Kept his word - did everything he promised us.
Please note that we could write a whole book on him - he is fantastic.
Keep up the good work Walter, and that way a lot of people will have a high regard for you.

Walter was totally honest and accurate about the current market and listing value of my home. He kept me well informed throughout the whole process and was always extremely polite and helpful.
I have now bought and sold my home through Glovers and would definitely use them again in the future.
