We have now sold two properties with Glover Real Estate. The first was during boom times when (let's be honest), anybody could sell houses. Our recent sale was far more challenging, and this is where Glenn Stott and the team really proved their worth.
From the outset Glenn was forthright and honest with us when discussing selling price. At no point did he attempt to falsely raise our expectations - Glenn simply promised to achieve the best price he could given the current market, and helped us set a realistic listing price.
Throughout the sale process we turned to Glenn for advice as the offers came in - whilst always leaving the final decision in our hands, his guidance and market knowledge helped us immensely.
Walter Thorpe closed the deal for us, bringing in a solid offer within a matter of days after working like a man possessed to sell the property.
As with our previous sale, the entire Glover experience was a pleasure, from the photography to presentation of offers. Communication with us was timely and professional at all times, and every agent we dealt with is a credit to the agency.

I have just sold a property in Woodlands Park, Titirangi, at a difficult period in the housing market, in a short period of time for a very pleasing price. I wish to formally thank Glover Real Estate for the highly professional way in which the property was listed, marketed and sold. In particular I would like to thank who listed and marketed the property. Walter had explained how Glovers worked as a team, and so it was that in the end it was a colleague of his (Glenn) who finalised the sale to buyers whom he had been working with. Even during the period of Glenn negotiating through an unconditional contract, Walter maintained contact, checking we had no unanswered questions and keeping us fully informed.
We contacted Walter as he had left his card at the property advising the owners of a recent sale two doors along. We had been considering selling and this was the prompt to move forward. We duly contacted Walter who followed up the contact promptly. There are some reasons I would highly commend Walter to other prospective vendors.
He was professionally presented at all times, prompt in his responses to contacts, courteous, attentive to the issues important to us, a good listener and well-informed. At no time did we feel unhappy with developments, or that we were being rushed into any decisions, and questions or uncertainties we had were answered satisfactorily. This gave us full confidence that we were being dealt with honestly and with integrity. We listed the property prior to Christmas, aware that the next ten days or so would be quiet and Walter would be taking some leave. Even then Walter maintained contact and advised us as to when he returned from leave. We had advised Walter right at the start that we were approaching another agency, and although he informed us of the points of difference in the way Glovers did business, at no time did he denigrate competitors. When the sale was completed Walter rang us to congratulate us. We cannot fault him.
I have bought and sold a small number of other properties in the past, and have on the whole been happy with the way the agent I was dealing with conducted the transactions, with a couple of notable exceptions. I have to say, though that Walter has topped the best of those I have had dealings with in the past,. I would recommend Walter to any prospective vendor.
