- from previous experience she was realistic in her valuation of our property;
- her enthusiasm for our property is equal to our own;
- she knows Titirangi;
- everyone who came through our home was a vetted buyer so the effort we put in to presentation was not wasted;
- although Gillian was not the agent to make the sale she was always there to give her advice as our listing agent;
- Gillian's professionalism in selling and strength in negotiating with people at critical times meant every opportunity was optimised. This can only be learnt by doing it and someone having a love for what they do;
- We never liked the idea of purchasing a home at auction but were not convinced open homes were irrelevant. We are now convinced that real buyers look in everyone's window and we all like doing business with people we like.
We feel we achieved a fair price for our home with the minimum interference to our privacy and we did not have to contribute towards the promotion of our property or the agent's public image.
